Film & Videography

A collection of projects focusing on visual storytelling and camera work. This section includes collaborative student films and technical exercises from intensives at UCLA (2024) and NYFA NYC (2025), alongside personal projects developed within the IB Film HL curriculum.

Born from a collaboration that began at a film summer camp, I was tapped by the director to bring his vision to life for his New York Film Academy admission film. Recognizing our creative synergy, I joined the project during pre-production and flew to Estonia for an intensive four-day shoot. My focus was on translating the director’s script into a cohesive visual language under a tight schedule. The final project was not only a creative success but also earned the director an Honors Scholarship at NYFA.

Filmed during the Summer of 2025 as part of an intensive 6-week program at the New York Film Academy, this project was the first major collaboration between myself and the director. Moving into Term 2, we shifted our focus to a more complex, dialogue-driven narrative. As DP and cinematographer, I was responsible for crafting the visual language of the film while helping him managing a full crew. A successful workflow that eventually led to our international project in Estonia later that year.

Filmed during the Summer 2025 NYFA program, this project was all about capturing the specific mood Sofia wanted. As the Cinematographer, I worked to make sure the visuals matched the script’s energy. It’s a great example of how I can jump onto a project and quickly help a director get the look they’re after.

A solo-driven continuity project from Summer 2025 at NYFA. I handled the writing, directing, and cinematography, working independently to bring the vision to life. This short features a performance by Sam Scheiner (now at NYU Tisch), showcasing a successful collaboration between filmmaker and actor to create a polished, character-driven piece.

The Moments That Made Me Me is my first long-form piece of work, originally created as my IB Personal Project in 10th grade. This film is a raw and vulnerable reflection of my journey behind the lens and my passion for capturing life's unscripted moments. By touching on the struggles of growing up and navigating mental health, it serves as a personal essay on how filmmaking became my primary way of processing the world. It remains the most honest look at who I am as a creator.
